Dr was happy but went ahead and scheduled another ultrasound for next Friday (8/28 will be 7w1d). Probably because she knows I'm a worrier. I'm starting Lovenox tomorrow (blood thinner injections) and she wanted to confirm the sac was in my uterus. I guess if you're on blood thinners and have an ectopic pregnancy, you can bleed out.So I had my first ultrasound on Tuesday because I am high risk and have had multiple miscarriages. The technician seemed very reserved, wouldn't answer my questions and told me that she couldn't see anything but a black dot and to follow up with my doctor. I'm really worried and my doctor hasn't called...My HCG was 8,000 at 5w2d. I had an ultrasound at 5w6d and the ultrasound tech couldn't find a yolk sac at first. She did eventually find what she thought was the yolk sac. A week later I had another ultrasound at 6w6d and she immediately found baby with a heartbeat of 138. I think it's just still very early.
